2026 Legislative Measures HB4142 DETAILS Ryan’s Law broadens qualifying medical marijuana conditions to include hospice and palliative care needs, requires certain caregiving facilities to adopt cannabis-handling policies and staff training while granting liability protections, permits patient use by registered cardholders or applicants, protects nurses who discuss medical cannabis with patients, exempts hospitals, and takes effect 91 days after the legislative session ends.
